In the middle of a fire ceremony Daksha cursed Siva, then Siva's wife tried to solve the situation by going to Daksha's house, and failing that she decided to commit suicide. This provoked the wrath of Siva, who sent a warrior to kill Daksha and punish all the Demigods. Finally, Siva forgives the Demigods and brings Daksha back to life.
